I've got a question. How do I post a link so that the text I want acts as the link? I don't want to type out the whole url in my post. I'm used to using other messageboard software that makes it easy--all I do is highlight the text I want in my message, click the hyperlink button and then type the url into a separate pop-up window. The link then appears in my post the way I want it to look. With this board, it wants to stick [ url ] type text here [ /url ] brackets around my text... I can't figure out how to make it do what I want. I think showing the url in the post is ugly and clunky, so any help would be appreciated. I've tried several different ideas to make it do what I want, but nothing seems to work...

It takes a little doing, but it's easy enough... The Post-Modern Pulps Review PageWhen you insert it, and it gives you the URL bracket up front, just put after "url" "=http://blahblahblahdotblah" inside that first bracket.

It's a little difficult to show without the text editor thinking I'm actually trying to put in links, so I'll use"{" instead of a bracket.
When you get the {url}{/url} from clicking on "add hyperlink", put your addy in the first bracket, like so:
{url=http://blahblahblahblah}The Blah Blah Blah Home Page{/url}
That should do it.
