As readers of pulp fiction, can anybody identify the title of a book I read back in the early 1970s. It could be either a British publication or an American import. The most outstanding scenes in the book that most people would remember would be the torture scenes where the villain has the captured hero in a kind of classroom. He tortures him in front of an audience, first with a tourniquet around his waist. And then follows this with, I think a candle to his navel and some kind of nutcrackers on his testicles. (no pun intended). During this the villain, some kind of expert (?) talks about his victim’s physical shape. Makes a great deal about him being a mesomorph rather than an endomorph. Also one other memorable scene in the book is when the hero is tied face down on top of an old dying man. There is a lot more to this book, but the scenes mentioned set it apart from others. If anybody knows the title and author I would be very grateful
