Here's a link to the publisher's page on the book. I'm sure you can find a lot more out there with a quick Google search. www.penguinputnam.com/nf/Book/BookDisplay/0,,0_042520040X,00.html What a book. At first I thought it would be really critical of the war in Iraq, but to be honest the author doesn't dwell over-much on the politics of the situation and focuses mostly on the moment at hand. In fact, for a war that has so many people in this country divided, the author is suprisingly neutral - I suppose being on the sharp end, even as a civilian reporter, can stop a lot of the "word vomit" about the war that we see from people who have nothing to do with the conflict. So give it a read. It provides some really amazing insight into the mind of the modern 19-year olds who have suddenly found themselves in the middle of a conflict they'd never believe would happen to them.
